Quotation
Every RFQ answered. Every number sourced.
CAS reads the customer’s drawings, builds the part tree and prices every part on your machines, rates and costing policy. Your estimators review what matters, then send.
How it works
From RFQ to a quote you can defend.
The agent does the costing in minutes. Your estimators keep the judgement.
- 01
Drop in the RFQ
Drawings, scans, models, photos and spreadsheets, exactly as the customer sent them.
- 02
The agent quotes it
Parts and BOM, material and gross weight, operations, tonnage and machines, priced with your data.
- 03
Review what matters
A short list ranked by effect on price. Questions arrive with suggested answers, and you can tell the agent to change anything.
- 04
Export and send
Your own sheet format, with the margin kept internal.
Product
A quote that shows its working.
Source-linked
Every number opens to its source.
Click any figure to see where it came from: a region of the customer’s drawing, the strip layout the agent drew, a calculation, or your own rate. Assumptions are marked, so you know what to check before you send.
Layout suggestions
It lays out the part, then asks.
CAS unfolds the flat blank from the drawing and draws the strip layouts your tools can run: one-up, nested head to tail, rotated. Each shows material used, gross weight and cost per piece, with the best one preselected. Choose another and the quote reprices.
Your factory, your format
Priced on your factory, exported in your format.
Quotes use your machines, plant rates, in-house and outsourced processes, and costing policy. Corrections in chat become company notes the agent follows on every project. Export produces your own sheet, and the customer view keeps your cushion internal.
What it checks
The decisions an experienced estimator makes.
Each one is recorded with its evidence, so you can see how the price was built and change any step.
Assembly or separate parts
The agent reads the drawing tree and BOM. An assembly keeps its made, bought and welded children; unrelated drawings are quoted as separate parts.
A gross weight you can defend
Every blank layout shows strip width, pitch, parts per stroke and material used, so a reviewer can see why the part weighs what it does.
Operations in the right order
The route follows the drawing. Concentric holes across a bent flange are pierced after bending, as the tolerance on the drawing requires.
Tooling matched to volume
Tandem tools for lower volumes, progressive tools when the annual demand justifies them, with tooling quoted as a separate one-time cost.
The right press
Cutting force comes from the part’s perimeter, thickness and material, with your safety factor. The smallest press in your list that can run it is chosen.
Outside processes flagged
Plating, coating and heat treatment you do not run become outsourced lines. A requirement you have never offered arrives as a heads-up, not a refusal.

Drop in the customer’s files, let CAS read the drawing, pick the strip layout it suggests and send the quote.

FAQ
Built to fit the way you work.
What can I upload?
Drawings, scanned PDFs, photos, STEP and IGES models, DXF flat patterns, spreadsheets and ZIP packs. Keep the information in the form your customer supplied; the agent works through the files together.
Does it use our own machines and rates?
Yes. Your Factory profile holds machines, material prices, process rates and costing policy. You decide which operations you run in-house and which you outsource. Assumptions remain visible for review.
Can our estimator change the result?
Yes. Inspect the source behind a number, edit the cost sheet, or tell the agent what to change in chat. Review items flag questions that need your judgement before the quote is sent.
Can we keep our margin private?
Yes. Internal cost and customer pricing have separate views. Review the customer breakdown and export the customer workbook while keeping your internal cost build-up in the project.
